Austin Children’s Montessori, founded in 2004, is one of Austin’s only locally and family owned Montessori schools. Located on over an acre of dense oak tree farm land, ACM is an urban oasis in the South Austin area for students, families, and our whole Montessori community.
Austin Children’s Montessori was founded by Thiranjani Wijenayake (a certified Association Montessori International Director). The school is now under the directorship of her daughter, Kulani Hummel. Our Montessori community consists of faculty and families that have been with our school for upwards of 15 years.
